About Us
11 Loch Goyle Drive, Woodville was purchased by my Mother Denise in April, 2022. Being born and raised in Malabar, NSW, and with both her parents now in heaven, Denise spent countless hours online searching for properties during the lockdown in search for an alternative to the evermore overcrowded Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We lost count of long drives, inspections, offers made and hopes broken. However, with faith and guidance, Denise had decided that while in Woodville she would "Just look" at Loch Goyle Drive. It was an instant connection, her offer for the property was accepted, the contract was drawn up and the deal was sealed. It was the most simple, smooth and stress free process after all the months of searching! She decided to name the property "Dei Gratia" which is Latin for "By the Grace of God", as it was His divine guidance that made all this possible.

Denise brought with her from Sydney several antique pieces of furniture which I, her daughter decided to upscale. A few days after completing my first restoration, for my 42nd birthday, Mum took me to my first ever high tea in the antique town Morpeth. Sipping on fine tea, nibbling on egg and cucumber sandwiches, then making my sweet mouth watering ascension to the top of the 3 tier stand, to finish the 2 hour sitting with fresh scones, jam and cream, I was in high tea heaven! This is where and when "Dei Gracia High Tea House" was born.
When I arrived home I looked at the furniture, I thought about the high tea house, and, an idea came into my head. What if we did that here? There is something truly special about the energy of this land in a kind of healing way, and after a fair bit of discussion with my Mother, we thought it was the perfect place to offer a peaceful space for people to come and relax, laugh, play, and, sip tea while enjoying delicious locally supplied hors d'oeuvres and sweets.
